Every two years, ISHMap hosts a Symposium and Workshop in collaboration with a local host. Symposium and Workshop are organized as back-to-back events, scheduled usually between May and July. For reference, you can browse the information and programs of the last ISHMap Symposia and Workshops held in Berlin and Montevideo.
ISHMap invites scholars and institutions to propose to host the Symposium and Workshop in 2025 and/or 2027. Those interested in preparing a proposal are encouraged to contact the Chair of the Society (Ishmap.society[at]gmail.com) for the full Call for Proposals before beginning the full application to host an ISHMap symposium and workshop.
The deadline for applications for 2025 or 2027 is December 31, 2023.
